Homemade Shampoo and Conditioner

Honey Lavender Shampoo

1/2 cup honey
1 part lavender liquid castile lavender soap
1 tbsp liquid aloe vera
5 drops french lavender oil
water

Honey Orange Almond Shampoo

1/2 honey
1 part almond liquid castile soap
1 tbsp liquid aloe vera
7 drops orange oil
water

Honey Orange Banana Conditioner

1/4 honey
1/4 plain yogurt
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp aloe vera
1 tbsp coconut oil
7 drops orange oil
1 banana
water

Note: I used my bruised bananas for the recipe. You can use fresh ones as well, but at least this way, your bananas don’t go to waste. Also store the conditioner in the refrigerator or it will mold.

The castile bottles are huge, so you can get about five uses out of the recipes before you have to go to the store.

Cost for the project: 55.00. That’s 11.00/month for us. If you have more people, adjust as needed. Even if so, it worked beautifully on our hair, and since we have dry scalp issues, we haven’t had the issues of scatching of flaking either! I’m so excited! Try it out peeps!
